Thu 19th Apr 2007: DAF MB230 - Duple 5140 came into the fleet with the takeover of OK Travel, and in later years it was used for driver training duties. However it was withdrawn in 2004 due to it been non-standard.

Fri 20th Apr 2007: Dennis Dart - Wright Handybus Go-Ahead Group North East ordered 89 (8001 - 8089) 9.8M long Dennis Darts with Wright Handybus bodies. GNE withdrew the last of them in 2003, the vehicles have been popular buys with other operators, and photos of them will be showing in the Exile file.

Fri 27th Apr 2007: Dennis Dart SLF - Caetano Compass Go North East aquired 12 Dennis Dart SLFs from East Thames Buses early in 2006. They all entered service at Deptford, however 8287 has been moved to Percy Main

Tue 17th Apr 2007: Dennis Dart SLF - Caetano Nimbus Go North East aquired a single Low Floor Dart from Cheney Travel Services (Subject to correction). Numbered 8288 and registered X94FOR, it was orignally based at Stanley, and has since been relocated to Percy Main.

Wed 11th Mar 2009: Dennis Dart SLF - Plaxton Pointer 2 In 2006 Go North East aquired 4 Dennis Darts SLF with Plaxton Pointer 2 bodies. Details of former Operators and registrations of these vehicles can be found below. Upon arrival to GNE all 4 vehicles were based at Stanley depot for the Stanley Shuttle, they then went to Winlaton for service 47 and weren't considered big enough. They then went to Washington for services X3 and X4. More recently they have moved to Chester Le Street depot and can be found on anything.

Tue 17th Apr 2007: Dennis Lance - Plaxton Verde Another individual vehicle in the fleet was 4774, which has recently been withdrawn. It started off with Low Fell Coaches, but became a Go Gateshead vehicle, however it was transferred to South Shields when Gateshead recieved new vehicles, then it was transferred to Percy Main. In 2006 the vehicle was transferred back to Gateshead, and it ran from there until withdrawl in February 2007.

Thu 19th Apr 2007: Ex GNE buses with other Go-Ahead Companies Photos of ex Go North East vehicles operating elsewhere within the Go-Ahead Group. The collection is arranged using the bus's old GNE fleetnumber, and the operator is identified at the end of the photo caption.

Sun 2nd Sep 2007: Leyland Lynx Mk2 Go North East Leyland Lynx Mk2s have all been aquired secondhand. The first 2 from Redby, which have since departed. However when Go-Ahead aquired Northumbria Coaches, Mk2 Lynxes re-entered the fleet.

Tue 10th Feb 2009: Leyland Olympian - Alexander Belfast RH GNE acquired 6 Dublin Bus specification Leyland Olympians with Alexander Belfast RH bodywork in 2005. They were all new to Dublin Bus. 3947 - 3949 operated in the Isle of Man before going to Ensign Bus then onwards to Go North East, whilse 3950 - 3952 came from Dublin Bus to Ensign, then onwards to Go North East. 3950 was the first Leyland Olympian delivered to Dublin Bus as their RH1.

Thu 19th Apr 2007: MCW Metrorider Go North East aquired a batch of MCW Metrorider from the the Oxford Bus Company in the mid 90s. However all were withdrawn at the turn of the millenium, apart from 446 and 447 which were converted to Staff Shuttle vehicles for use between Deptford and Sunderland Interchange. 446 was replaced by Optare MetroRider 340, and 447, along with 340 were replaced by newer MetroRiders.

Fri 15th Jun 2007: Mercedes Benz 0.530N Citaro Go North East has 9 Citaro single deck buses for use on service X1/X2 ran by Washington Depot.

Wed 11th Mar 2009: Volvo (VDL) SB120 - Wright Merit Go North East aquired 6 Volvo SB120 / Wright Merits from Dealer Stock. They are the same as the VDL SB120s except they have square headlights like on 8242 - 8252 as opposed to round ones on the later batches. Plus they lack the air con pod. They can be found on the Highwayman services.

Wed 11th Mar 2009: Volvo B10BLE - Alexander ALX 300 Another individual vehicle in the Go North East fleet is 4993 - S590KJF, it was aquired from Beestons, and was the regular vehicle for unsuccessful X11 between Heworth and Peterlee where the vehicle recieved route branding. However the service was short lived and was at first used on various services around Gateshead, then went to Stanley before returning to Gateshead. Now the vehicle is based at Percy Main and it is used on just about anything.

Go North East operates 49 Volvo B10BLEs with the Wright Renown Body. The vast majority of B10BLEs have been giving route specific liveries and many have been refurbished.

Wed 25th Jul 2007: Volvo B10M - Plaxton Paragon Go North East took delivery of these coaches to modernise their National Express fleet, they were the first in the fleet to feature the then new Plaxton Paragon coach body.

Sun 23rd Sep 2007: Volvo B6BLE - Plaxton Concept 2000 This is a bit of an oddball vehicle, not only in Go North East but in the country. Only 2 examples were built, the other which operates for Annitsford based operator Henry Coopers from which 8293 was aquired from. It entered the Go North East fleet via the takeover of Northumbria Coaches
